Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the incumbent is responsible for the efficient planning and execution of Parade for the Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival and the events outlined in the Summary of Responsibilities. The incumbent is also responsible for the management, supervision and execution of the of Junior Carnival Parade and Grand Parade activities.

The post-festival volunteer appreciation event took place on January 31, 2013. The evening brought together volunteers and the management and staff of the Festival Management.

The symposium will explore some of the historical and creative facets of the Caribbean Carnival, a cultural celebration of global proportions that takes up new relevance and meaning in the various contexts where it manifests itself.

Bake and Shark is a very popular street food sold in Trinidad and Tobago but is difficult to find in Toronto ... except during Carnival. It is one of those must-try items if you attend any Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto events,or if you attend a Mas Camp Blocko!

June 29, 2012 (Toronto) The media is invited to join Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto’s CEO Denise Herrera Jackson, local MPPs, city of Toronto councillors, and members of the Caribbean Canadian community for the releasing of information about this year’s Junior Carnival. For the first time in a decade the parade will not be held along Jane Street, it will instead be held in Downsview Park on July 21st.
